Compare Original and Summer Camp Formulas

Original Bug Repellent for People is listed in an 8 fl oz size and contains cedarwood, citronella, clove, geranium, lemongrass, peppermint, rosemary and spearmint oils with water and glycerin. Summer Camp is a separate citronella-free formula, listed in 4 fl oz and 8 fl oz sizes.

Compare the complete ingredient list and bottle size rather than assuming the formulas are identical. The Summer Camp kids listing does not establish an exact minimum age; consult the supplied label for age guidance and application requirements.

Extra Strength Tick Spray Sizes and Application

Extra Strength Tick Repellent is listed in 4 fl oz and 8 fl oz sizes with a vanilla-spice scent. Its ingredient list includes clove, geranium, peppermint, cedarwood, spearmint, rosemary and cinnamon oils, distilled water, vegetable glycerin and natural vanillin.

The tick formula has different application directions from Original and Summer Camp. Its listing directs application from the waist down, including legs, socks and shoes, with arm application when handling weeds or plants, reapplication every 45 minutes and tick checks after time in tick-prone areas. Follow the exact bottle's current label; do not treat a reapplication interval as a guarantee of protection.

Read Product-Specific Directions and Cautions

Original and Summer Camp listings direct misting onto exposed skin, hair, clothing and gear, with reapplication as needed and after swimming or exercise. Conditions may require more frequent application. Do not transfer those instructions to another formula without checking its label.

Patch test before first use. For external use. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid eyes and mouth and do not apply to children's hands. Adult supervision is required for application. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. These listings are not for use on cats or dogs.

Review complete ingredients, age guidance and all supplied warnings before use. Essential-oil ingredients do not establish universal skin suitability, a testing certification or guaranteed prevention of tick-borne disease.
